About GiveLocalNRV
Hosted by the Community Foundation of the New River Valley, the GiveLocalNRV initiative brings together nonprofits, donors, volunteers, and local businesses to support our community.
Organizations that serve Virginia's New River Valley can use this platform year-round, for free, to raise funds and awareness for their missions. The signature event for this initiative is our annual giving day, held each June.
Since 2014, donors have raised more than $4.3 million for our community through the giving day event.
