Dayspring is an independent, parent-run, non-denominational school with a student body representing over 30 area churches. Dayspring seeks to partner with families and churches to provide a solid foundation for each child's academic success as well as social and spiritual growth inside and outside the classroom.

Growing relationships with the Lord and with each other is a big part of what Dayspring is all about. From the regular school day through each school event, we focus on building relationships among classmates, members of the Dayspring family, and with the God who makes it all possible.

Service Day

Serving others as an expression of thanks and love for Christ is a crucial part of student life at Dayspring.  All students K-12 participate in Service Day in November, when they  go out into the community to show the love of Christ by serving others.  In the winter, all students also participate in a canned food drive for the local food bank.  Older students have opportunities to  join Service Club and volunteer in a variety of ways.

The Dayspring School Board works diligently to keep educational costs as low as possible.  It is the heart of Dayspring that no child be denied admission for financial reasons; therefore we will work with families on an individual basis.  Your Giving Day donation will go towards our Scholarship Fund which allows us to offer partial scholarships to families with financial needs.  We also offer tuition discounts for families involved in full-time ministry as well as families with multiple children.  Thank you so much for supporting Christian Education in the New River Valley!
