New River Valley Youth Cycling Alliance

NRVYCA is a non-profit organization focused on developing and supporting the youth cycling community in the beautiful New River Valley. We host and coordinate year-round activities that include youth bike racing, group rides, skills sessions, bike safety, trail and public lands stewardship, and physical fitness in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.

NRVYCA supports riders who compete at the Virginia chapter of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) mountain bike races as members of both the NRV Composite Team and the Blacksburg High School Team. 

We also provide group rides and skills-building for youth who love riding, but not racing. Our activities support co-ed youth riders of all skill levels with a goal to create a life-long love of mountain biking at a pace and level that works for everyone. 

The New River Valley Youth Cycling Alliance provides equal treatment and provision of programming to all youth riders and volunteers without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic.
