Pearisburg Junior Woman's Club

The Pearisburg Junior Woman's Club is a volunteer community service organization with a membership of women from Giles County, Virginia. 

The club's community service projects include providing nonperishable food during winter break for PreK-12 students with food insecurity in Giles County Public Schools, supplying food for the high schools' food closets, hosting an annual Breakfast with Santa to fund Christmas gifts for children in need, supporting the upgrade of town park equipment, funding Mill Mountain Zoo visits to elementary schools, funding two scholarships for graduating seniors, funding other community projects to directly benefit citizens of Giles County. 

This year we have become the local affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Giles County. With the launch of the program, any child in Giles County from birth to age 5 is eligible to receive one age-appropriate book per month.
