Sunday evening, Animal Control was notified of a dog who had fallen into a cave in Narrows. By happenstance, a group of professional cavers were belaying down to explore when they stumbled upon this little lady. We're unsure of how long she was down there, but we know over the course of 3 hours, this group of cavers went above and beyond to safely bring her to the surface.

Sparsy has now been seen by two vets and racked up a hefty vet bill, but she is SAFE, WARM and already perking up, and that is what matters. She still does not have much use of her back legs, but with medication, rest, and good nutrition, we hope she will be up and moving in the next couple days.

Every little bit helps, and we're so fortunate to be taking care of her.
