I work for a really cool food bank! We have our roots in providing farm fresh nutritious food to our Floyd neighbors struggling with food insecurity. We host 3 food pantry's every week, have a beautiful farm on site, a young chestnut orchard, and apple trees planted this season.
We are a non-profit and have a great opportunity with this fundraising event as we have a donor who will match us! We have over 50 volunteers on an average week to support our operation as well as 6 staff members. We like to think of ourselves as neighbors helping neighbors and we have nurtured a community along with the infrastructure to support our operation.

The above photograph is of Kila sampling Plenty grown radishes from the hoophouse in early April. If you knew my husband Kellan, he selected all of the apple trees that we planted and the orchard is dedicated to his memory.
